Begin with the pattern, then develop the specification around the space. This collection brings together a wide range of numbered carpet drawings, allowing a design team to identify a clear visual starting point before discussing fibre, construction and dimensions. A code identifies the selected pattern; it does not by itself define the finished carpet's technical properties. Review the whole composition to decide whether the drawing should be enlarged, repeated or cropped for the room. Colour can be coordinated with the wider material scheme through sampling. For a project enquiry, include a scaled plan, the selected codes and the intended use so the design development and technical discussion can proceed together.
Featured design: Blue abstract field
Pale blue, slate and white brush-like areas overlap in a layered abstract field. Use this artwork as a starting point for discussing scale, colour and a material sample; construction and finished dimensions are developed for the project.
