Woven rugs give a room structure through the rhythm of the fibre and the way the edge is finished. The selection includes distinct material families, from jute, sisal, cotton and seagrass to polypropylene and outdoor-oriented weaves. Material names remain attached to individual products because similar colours can conceal very different fibre compositions. Compare the overall shape, the close-up weave and the border as parts of the same design. Round, oval and rectangular forms should be tested against the furniture plan before a size is agreed. When enquiring, identify the product code and intended location, then confirm composition, backing, edge treatment and maintenance with the selected sample.
