Sources and editorial approach
Useful design information keeps the drawing, the material and the source together. These pages are published under the ADA FLOOR brand and focus on full-category carpet selection for hospitality, homes and workplaces.
Who publishes the collection
ADA FLOOR is a carpet design and manufacturing studio with showrooms in Shenzhen and Shanghai and a hand-tufting workshop in Xiqiao, Foshan. The studio’s published brand story identifies the operating entities and founder. The company and contact pages provide the current public contact record.
Individual product records
Material, technique and catalogue reference dimensions belong to the named design. A reference dimension describes the catalogue record; the drawing and sample approved for a commission establish its final specification. Artwork studies show a direction for pattern and colour, with construction developed as part of the project brief.
Photographs and project references
Collection descriptions refer to the complete piece and to available detail images. Colour on a screen is a starting point for discussion; a physical sample belongs beside the actual floor, furniture and lighting.
Named room references come from the ADA project archive. A room photograph illustrates a setting and a carpet relationship. Architectural design credits, technical performance and the full scope of a contract require their own project records.
Reading the journal and collection news
Journal pages address a material or room-selection question. Collection news records a specific update. Each article carries its publishing organisation, first publication date and links to relevant collection or room references. A substantive revision receives an updated date; routine rebuilding keeps the original publication date.
Questions and corrections
For a question about a design, include its name and the page address with the material, dimension or image you are asking about. For a room reference, include the project title and the image or description in question. Contact ADA at adafloor@163.com or +86 158 1876 6066.
